Wendy Williams What?!

I was watching the Wendy Williams show last week and she made the comment...

" She no longer watches, Love and Hip Hop, Atl Exe's or Real Housewife's" because she " Matured" but it just seemed like all the shows she started naming off was mostly minority shows.
Then I started feeling like da*m Wendy we as people of color already don't have any good show's to watch anymore, Martin got canceled, In Living Color got canceled, The Wayans Bros got canceled, LL Cool J In The House got canceled and that's just to name a few, and here she goes trying to downplay the shows that cast consists of mostly Black people. But guess what Wendy Williams, I'll continue watching LHHA, Atlanta Exe's, & Real House Wives of Atlanta, it's helping support Black entertainers and I don't see anything wrong with that :.)

Then  Phaedra Parks from Real House Wives Of Atlanta is getting a divorce from Apollo, (which he deserves from those stunts he pulled with Kenya) and Phaedra is one of my favorite Housewives, so I'll continue to watch and  support the shows

Moreover, is the rumor that Nick Cannon separated from Mariah Carey to hook up with Amber Rose and I do believe that's just a rumor, because no way can I see Nick Cannon Leaving Mariah Carey for Amber Rose, I just don't see it and I'll leave it at that ;.p
I seriously doubt Nick Cannon and Amber Rose are hooking up in an intimate way, I do believe it's just business when it comes to them collaborating

In closing as always, thanks for reading my blog! Leave a question or comment if you like and I'll catch up soon

Beyonce Rings The Alarm!

Alright ya'll, so Beyonce be damned if she let him go,  according to Ring The Alarm!....

Simply because she's been through this too long, and she'll be damned if she sees another chick on Hov's arm...

So, where does this young lady Liv come into play? Because the buzz going around is that

A lot of people are calling her Jay-Z mistress, but how can she be a mistress if she's never slept or has had any intimate connection with Jay-Z, other than her alleging Jay-Z was in pursuit of her?

I mean she says it herself with her interview with ETonline.com, she states

"She wants to be clear that she was not Jay-Z's mistress even though she says she could have been."

Therefore, being that she was never romantically involved with Jay-Z and only spoke of them having some sort of chemistry while working together, leads me to believe this Liv is apologizing for something that could have transpired between the two, but never did and the shots at Beyonce seems like hating because Jay-Z maybe in her mind dissed her.

Nonetheless, in conclusion, Liv needs to stop apologizing and start realizing that Beyonce ain't gonna let Jay-Z go, because if she let him go the next one

                   "Gon' be rockin' chinchilla coats

                                                                        If she let him go
Getting the house off the coast
                                                                        If she let  Jay go
She gon' take everything Bey own
                                                                         If she let him go
                                                                       She can't let him go

Damn, if she let him go

She gon' rock them VVS stones
                                                                   If she let him go

Couped in the 'beach or the Rolls
                                                                    If she let him go

She gon' profit everything she taught
                                                                       If she let him go

                                                                      She can't let him go
Damn, if she let's him go."

Therefore, Liv I apologize to you because I doubt Beyonce " Let Him Go."

Until Next Time,
Thanks for reading my blog and remember “Girl's can't run the world fightin’ over men" ;.p

The Undisputed Middle Weight Vs. T.I.!!

Alright, so I know it's been a minute since I contributed one of my many articles to relatabletopics...

But it hasn't really been that much going on to share with you guy's that you all don't already know about, other than T.I. getting into it with the undisputed middle weight Champion Floyd Mayweather over Tiny, because rumor has it Tiny was included in some inappropriate name calling by May Weather  after snapping a pic with her in it and of course T.I. wasn't having it, so T.I. confronted May Weather about the situation and it escalated from there, but we all know how much T.I. loves Tiny so the fight between the two didn't surprise me much.
Moreover, their fight came way to soon after the Solange and Jay-Z brawl. So, maybe if their fight would have come about a week before Solange and Jay-Z then just maybe this article would read differently, but the best of luck to them....

Moving on, then there was Chris Brown who just got released from custody, and I just keep thinking "man I wish he could have sung that new Micheal Jackson and Justin Timberlake track," called "Love Never Felt So Good."

Every time I hear that song, all I can think about his Chris Brown singing the lyrics, but all in all I'm glade he's been released.

Then I should have mentioned this first, but the B.E.T awards was horrible this year. I think the only part I did like was the tribute to Lionel Richie, other than that, the award's was a flop and I couldn't believe the dress Keke Palmer wore. I think it was to much for her, and it didn't fit her right, I think it would have fit better on someone with a little more curves but that's just my opinion.

Yet, I'am excited about seeing Astro the young contestant from Ex-Factor season 1 who was on LA Reid's team that graced us all with his lyrical gifts. No, unfortunately he didn't win, but he rose to many occasions since.  Since appearing on the Ex-Factor, Astro has landed multiply roles. One being a main role in the new movie "Earth to Echo" which is due to be released on big screen this Wednesday July 2 and his second role in the new Fox series " The Red Band Society " which is due to show this Fall, so watch out for Astro because this young man has come a long way since the Ex-Factor and he's still scaling the charts.

Well that's what's been up, and now that I've shared I'm about to head out.

Wishing you all a Happy & Safe Independence Day! And I've added some Independence day tracks to grind and Turn Up to as we enter into the Hoilday!!

Until Next Time, Thanks For Reading My Blog
And That's What's Up ;.p

Solange Elevator Brawl With Her Brother In Law Jay-Z!

Alright, so if I was a fly, I'd want to be on the wall of the elevator carrying Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Solange Knowles that night of the showdown...

Because no one knows exactly what happened or what was said to Solange to set her off to the point of wanting to beat the crap out of her brother-in-law Jay-Z, except them those four walls and that bodyguard, which I doubt he's talking...

Yet, I was surprised by how calm and collected everyone was before and after they got in and out of the elevator. Then how fast they got it together when those elevator doors opened for the last time.
Solange lunged over to knock, along with kick the crap out of her brother-in-law as her sister Beyonce stepped in to fix her dress. Then the reaction of the three as they exited the elevator, priceless. Jay-Z rubbing his face, looking like he just got the Sh*t slapped out of him (which he did), Beyonce fake smile looking puzzled and Solange storming right pass the press, looking deranged.

Yet, all I could think was "They sure know how to put up a facade for the cameras in 0.2 seconds," but really this whole Beyonce and Jay-Z relationship reminds me of nothing but Ike and Tina Turner's relationship. And we all know how that went down, along with how much Beyonce loved and admired Tina Turner, even as a child as she's expressed before, so hopefully her life won't play out like Ike and Tina's. Then how ironic that Beyonce's Mother's name is Tina too.

Hopefully, Beyonce will not be reciting the line's from" What's Love Got To Do With It" when Anna May goes to the court and tell the judge "He Can Keep Everything, But I'm Keeping The Last Name" and " Jay-Z be like " Now... Now... The Name Stays Home"..... Lol Seriously, all jokes aside, I wish them the best in their personal life, whichever direction it takes them outside the entertainment industry because when it gets physical you'll know someone then went and gone cra-cra.

Then what's been going on with Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon!? Rumors are their relationship is on the rock's, but according to ABCnews.com Nick Cannon spoke to Parade magazine saying rumors are:

"Carey wants to "cut him loose" because she's angry about him talking about his past sexual exploits in interviews," but tell's the magazine the rumors has "no merit or truth."

Nonetheless, when it comes to relationships sometimes, even in Hollywood as Outkast state's "Lean and a little bit closer and see that roses really smell like" and you know the rest.

Until next time...Thank's for reading my blog ;.p

Donald Sterling "Misplaced Hate Makes Disgrace To Races"

"Misplaced hate makes disgrace to races" say's one of Tupac song lyrics, but those lyrics can be applied to Donald Sterling and his racist comments about black people and not wanting Blacks at his games...

When it comes to Donald Sterling comments about Black people and not wanting Blacks to attend his Clippers game's it didn't surprise me, because why would he want his entertainment to be entertained. However when you're from around my way, you're faced with discrimination all the time and not just racism, but sexism, etc.

It's just so happened that this time it was the owner of the Clippers team that expressed his dislike of black people, which caused a frenzy among the NBA community and outside.

Therefore, causing a wake up call to minority celebrities and athlete's putting them in a humbling situation. Letting cultured celebrities and athlete's know that discrimination "started from the bottom now it's there."

Moreover, I do however feel bad for the Clippers and the NBA, but the commissioner of the NBA Adam Silver did move swift with his decision to ban Donald Sterling, from having anything to do with the National Basketball Association, period, along with fining him 2.5 million.

Therefore, forcing Donald Sterling into selling the team. Following, the NBA team's were as going to reportedly boycott the playoff's if actions wasn't taken against Donald Sterling immediately. However, despite all, with the penalties Donald Sterling is facing maybe he will now be more conscious about what he say's about a culture he know's little to nothing about.

Peace along with Love and thanks as always for reading my blog ;.)

Pharrell!

Pharrell is known best as being a songwriter, rapper, record producer, musician, and fashion designer....

But lately he's more recognized for his music from the Despicable Me 2 movie which , I have been hearing for weeks now and for real I'm not sure if I'm going to miss it when it stops playing on rotation on the radio, t.v., in department stores, you get the point ".)

Or am I going to be "Happy" I won't have to hear it so much anymore. I mean I've been hearing this song "Happy" so much I expect minions to pop out from somewhere.

Since I've been hearing this song so much it made me curious to know what has recently taken place with Pharrell other than him announcing his retirement during his interview with Oprah, because it's known Pharrell has always had his hand in a few bowl's and that song "Happy" is not the best track in my opinion that Pharrell has released, but I do get it, it's the most friendliest, yet I mean for real I feel like I'm in the movie every time I hear this song now, I've heard it so much.

On the other hand some think it's because of that vintage brown hat Pharrell worn to the Grammy's that has seem to spark this fortunate turn's of event's to occur for him, sparking a Pharrell craze.Word is he's had that hat for the longest time and it just so happened that this time when he wore it to the Grammy's it started a buzz starting it all but, I'm like "Really a Hat."

None the less, Pharrell has recently been on Oprah, Good Morning America, and as well the Ellen show, which I guess he's getting in his last interview's before finalizing his retirement to ride off into the sunset. Either way with all that being said I wish him the best with his plan of retirement, but for real I'll be so "Happy" when they retire the song "Happy" or will I :.p

Until next time! Stay Happy...Thanks for reading my blog ;.p

" In Performance At The White House Series, Women Of Soul"

"In Performance At The White House Series, Women Of Soul"

Well, if your a fan of Ms. Patti LaBelle and Aretha Franklin alike then you'd be delighted to know that this pass "In Performance at the White House, Women of Soul" event held last Thursday at the White House estate, acknowledged both ladies. As some of music's most profound voices came together in honor of this Presidential black-tie affair....

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama
In attendance at the event were Ms.Franklin, Ms.LaBelle, Melissa Etheridge, Tessanne Chin, Jill Scott, Janelle Monáe, and Ariana Grande. This event is the 12th program in President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama's "In Performance at the White House series, Women of Soul."

It's said by USA Today the President himself kicked off the night with his trip down memory lane, reminiscing on 1967 when the legend has it Ms. Franklin's voice shook the walls "it was magic" the President stated, advising those in attendance jokingly to " Hold on."

Also, they went on saying Miss Monáe and Ariana Grande held their own at the event when it came to not only being among some of the Divas of Soulful voices but also being among the legends of Soulful voices.

Monáe
Monáe performed her own rendition of Shirley Bassey's James Bond theme Goldfinger, while Ariana Grande went Big performing One of the Greatest Soul singers who have ever lived songs R.I.P the legendary Soulful singer, herself Ms.Whitney Houston's " I have nothing."

Both of the ladies also had the opportunity to sing one of their own songs, in which Monáe performed "Tightrope" and Grande delivered " Tattooed Heart" state's USA Today.

Now, although Monáe and Ariana Grande gave great performance's it was the Diva's of the night who was most memorable according to USA Today. Patti LaBelle opened the show with an "  electrifying rendition of Over the Rainbow" which earned her a standing ovation, later she performed her own Lady Marmalade.

Following Patti LaBelle's performance, Etheridge performed Gladys Knight's Neither One of Us, which was described as " heartfelt." Chin moved those in attendance to Donna Summer's disco classic Last Dance. Jill Scott performed Franklin's Rock Steady as well as her own song's "I'm the Only One and Golden, respectively."

The "Women of Soul" also lit up the event performing the Queen of Rock and Roll Tina Turner's Proud Mary, which seemed like the closing finale, until Franklin took to the crowd one finale time performing "  Amazing Grace" which was described by the article as being a mesmerizing performance leaving Monáe and Jill Scott teary-eyed, while Franklin closed out the evening.

It was said that the "atmosphere was more akin to a gospel-church revival than a black-tie affair," but either way it seemed like an amazing event that was put together in honoring these Women of Soul and I'm sure it was an honor for them as well.

In conclusion, the airing of the event is set to show on April 7, I'm not sure what time but you can always check your local listings as well, it will be broadcast on PBS .

Until Next Time :.)

Super Bowl Sunday

So, the talk is about this past Superbowl Sunday...

Rick Ross
Floyd Mayweather
And it's being said that Floyd Mayweather lost 10 million dollars in his bet against the Seattle Seahawks and the Broncos, while others are talking about Rick Ross....
Warren Sapp

And him winning a supposedly hundred thousand dollars bet between the teams, with Hall of Famer Warren Sapp...

None the less, I'm talking about the half time show with Bruno Mars featuring the Red Hot Chili Peppers!! It was an amazing halftime show, one of the best since Janet Jackson's and Justin Timberlake's wardrobe malfunction back in 2004 at SuperBowl XXXVlll..

The song's Bruno Mars performed, along with his choreography and his song choice, was the perfect choice for the halftime show...My favorite was when he perform treasure, bringing the football stadium to pandemonium, but then it got even Better!

The Red Hot Chili Peppers came out and performed their number one singles back in 1991 titled "Give it away," which couldn't make the night any better than that, in my opinion. Unless you where someone who bet on the Seahawks...

So, with everybody talking about the Superbowl it was an amazing  halftime show the Seahawk's did win as well as Rick Ross and a handful of others, but this years half time show to me will be remembered as a "Treasure " in itself.

Thanks for reading my blog
"Treasure! That Is What You Are" ;.p

The 56th Grammy Awards

Now with the Water Cooler Buzz and India Irie streak to Tumblr it was obvious something went Down at the Grammys!!.....

When it comes to this years 56 Grammy Awards.... I didn't watch it, but I have been hearing the buzz around the water cooler that pretty much everybody is talking about a "Good Kid" from a" M.A.A.D City" Kendrick Lamar. Now, don't get me wrong I didn't watch it, but I did watch clips from the event and did some of my own research and this is what I found out.....

Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick did not win in any of the following categories which includes Best New Artist of the Year, best rap performer, best rap song, or best rap album in which  a lot of people think he should have won, at least in one of the categories, however instead McLemore and Ryan Lewis won, sewing up all the categories!

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis
Then India Arie went to Tumblr expressing her feelings about this past Sunday's Grammy's awards, which she did and according to thegrio.com and Ms.Arie expressed:

" Kendrick was robbed, but he was not the only one who was robbed. Personally, I was pleased he was able to perform and they Killed! It! one of the few moving moments of the night for me"....

She further express:
India Arie
"Though it’s called “Music industries biggest night” the #Grammys are NOT about the music, it’s a popularity contest. The voting process allows people, to vote on name recognition alone – the music industry politics is a whole NUTHER conversation.Too much to get into here.

If the hip hop and R&B Community voted the same -for each category -we'd see winners that reflect the Music Itself we all know that's just not the way it goes".

So, maybe her  point is valet but either way I think if the Hip- Hop and R&B Community would have been able to vote, Kendrick most certainly would have won as Best New Artist in my opinion, but let's let the music speak. Rollingout.com makes a great point out the situation.

"Musically, The Heist was tailored for the radio with pop hits such as “Thrift Shop,”  “Can’t Hold Us” and “Same Love.” Mackemore, who is an independent artist, also went after the major label system with the song “Jimmy Iovine” and touched on the sneaker culture with “Wings.”

"When compared to Kendrick’s good kid, M.A.A.D City, The Heist doesn’t come close. Instead of leaning on radio singles, Kendrick created a cohesive album that told the coming of age story of a teen experiencing life in Compton, Calif. In an age where rap singles and mixtapes rule...."

But was Kendrick robbed of a Grammy!? Was the Buzz True? And from what I do know and have come to find out is that,  it's a matter of your own opinion, and yes the buzz was true. None the less my opinion is Kendrick wasn't going to win period. Like rollingout.com mentioned and I agree... Kendrick Lamar wasn't "leaning on radio singles, Kendrick created a cohesive album that told the coming story of a teen experiencing life in Compton,Cali. in a age where rap singles and mixtapes rule."

But, that's why the VH1 Hip Hop Honors, Source Awards, BET Awards and the Soul Train Music Awards and so forth are held, to be able to show Acknowledgement, Respect, and Honor to those who are really doing it Big in the Hip Hop, Rap and R&B industry. Some people take the Awards I just mentioned above more seriously than the Grammy's when it comes to Hip Hop, Rap & R&B, but then you have others who feel the Grammy's are more important.

Moreover, rollingout comments "Macklemore shouldn't be blamed. He did put out decent music and he's a decent artist who released a decent album and he even suggested that Kendrick should win the award for Best Album before the ceremony began." Now, I don't know if he suggested Kendrick should win, but I can agree Macklemore and Ryan Lewis has released some cool tracks.

Now with that being said...What did K.Dot have to say about Macklemore winning? Well, according to pithfork.com Kendrick Lamar responded:

"It’s well deserved; he did what he did, man... He went out there and hustled and grinded. Everything happens for a reason; the universe comes back around, that’s how it go."

They go on to share....

"XXL the site asked Lamar for his opinion on the Grammy's treatment of hip-hop broadly, and whether it is undervalued?" And I'll close with Kendrick's opinion to the question:

"I definitely feel like they should always have  more of the culture up in  there, for sure,  because we definitely stand out just like any  other genre..We part of the world.,We part of  the movement. So I think any awards, including  the Grammys, should always push for more hip  hop because it's music as a whole, its not just  splitting different regions. Everything moves as  far as sound and vibrations, and thats how it  goes. And we are a part of that."
