SuperBowl LIX The Televised Revolution

Ah, Superbowl LIX  "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." Lol (Charles Darwin)

Well here we are still in the beginning of 2025 and the wire is already lit as “ The Revolution Was Televised,” this past Sunday during Super Bowl LIX halftime show as Compton’s own Kendrick Lamar gave a poetically philosophical performance that has done what it was intended to do and that was spark conversation amongst the mass as how he used the platform to enlighten oppose to merely entertain.

As 2024 brought excitement with the news of Compton's native headlining the Super Bowl  (with the exception of those who would had preferred Lil Wayne aka Young Mula Baby) the excitement grew. Until February ninth arrived and Kendrick showed up and showed out.

The performance afterwards sparked controversy and mixed feelings as some would argue this Super Bowl half time show was one of the worst in history, while others argue it was a performance of social liberation at it's finest.

Unlike performances in the pass this half time segment evoked food for thought. It was a tasteful play on radical politics, unexpectedly for viewers expecting entertainment from a entertainer who instead mustered up poetic justice. It was like cursing somebody out without using one curse word yet getting the point across.

This may have been one of the only halftime segments in history where people had to go back and decipher the whole performance in order to understand what was really being projected through the easter eggs to then have to go back and watch it all over again because here comes another analysis trying to analyze from their perspective what was going on and what they took from it or what we might have missed.

From Samuel L. Jackson making a cameo as Uncle Sam, to Serena William Crip walking on the Sony Play station controller stage, to SZA slowing down the tempo, up to the dancers assembling in the form of the American flag down to Kendricks fashion statement with the bell bottoms.

There were subliminal message being given to us right in front of our face. The Revolution was being televised and U.O.E.N.O. making some people mad but somebody had to do it, K.Dot got on they a**,  he said watch a Brotha do it and we watched in support as a culture as he did it through the arts in music.

Well, if this has not been one of the most subliminal halftime shows in the history of Super Bowls, it's surely been one of the most fundamental thus far. As it's brought a nation to turn off the daily programming (T.V.) and think consciously. Hate it or love it, this man's on top. Much Respect to K.Dot Aka Kendrick Lamar

In other news...Cheers to the Eagles!! Hope I spelled it right..Lol

Ah... '\'.'/` iyk...yk
